I Am Alive is Alive!

The long-awaited I Am Alive ultimately has a release date.

IT's been a age approaching but Ubisoft's I Am Alive is retributive about ready to show its face in public. A deal out can happen complete the next calendar month in a half but Ubi must like it because information technology has finally, figuratively at least, order a ring on it.

I Am Alive's development hasn't necessarily been troubled but it sure has been interesting. It first came to ignite at E3 the whole way plunk for in 2008 with an intriguing trailer that promised a Thomas More realistic take along the immediate backwash of an prophetic event. But soon later the first real details came to light in 2009, the lame was taken away from independent studio Darkworks and given to Ubisoft Shanghai; a furor erupted a few days later over a fake report that the game would glucinium released only through digital channels because Ubisoft didn't "have much faith in the form of address," but then information technology came to light that the game in reality would be digital-only, and not for the PC, which led to other PR uproar.

Wow! That does sound rather troubled, doesn't it? Anyway, now we can finally read something about the game that ISN't only pointless kerfuffle, as Ubisoft has announced that I Am Alive will clangor the Xbox Live Arcade Mansion Company on March 7, for just 1200 Microsoft Points.

It looks a little distinguishable than what was originally declared, nonetheless. Instead of "six days later," the lame will read place a full year later the "Event," when the "everyman" hero returns to his destroyed hometown to search for his wife and daughter. Information technology's non a willing return: buildings are ruined, the streets are moss-grown in toxic ash and the masses have been reduced to doing any it takes to endure.

A dispense has changed over the years but I still dig the concept. A "real" post-apocalyptic biz that takes a hard look at what happens to culture in the face of a destructive consequence could be a whole deal out of play. Am I expecting overly much? Plausibly, but Hera's hoping that at least information technology doesn't suck. To larn more nigh I Am Alive, hit up iamalive-spunky.ubi.com.
